Diddington in Huntingdonshire, England, is a tiny hamlet of only a dozen houses and cottages strung out along a quiet country lane to nowhere as the road is a dead end. The immediate area proclaims a former glory that must relate to a mansion house, Diddington Hall, that once stood close to the Church of St Laurence. There are a number of estate buildings of architectural note that still remain and are in use for purposes much as they were intended. The village does not have a public house nor any other retail outlets but it does have a Village Hall, located in the old School.

Diddington is one of the parishes of the District of Huntingdonshire, whose administrative centre is Huntingdon, the other principle towns being St Ives home of the Chapel on the Bridge, St Neots the largest town in the County of Cambridgeshire, the Roman town of Godmanchester and Ramsey site of the former Abbey.
